About the Role:

Accord Worldwide is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to lead our transcription services project (a potential one not awarded to the firm yet). The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the project’s execution from inception to completion, ensuring that all objectives are met within the defined timelines and budget. This role demands a blend of leadership, technical proficiency, and exceptional communication skills.

The PM will be in charge of the contract’s day-to-day management and implementation. The PM will serve as the point of contact for the client, stakeholders, and the project team. The PM is the top position for this project on the ground and is expected to lead the team, solve problems, and make sure the project goals and objectives are fulfilled on time with approved resources and acceptable quality. This is not a direct job opportunity, but a potential one. It is because we are at the stage of submitting our proposal at this time.

About The Project

The transcription services project represents a pivotal initiative designed to support comprehensive documentation and analysis efforts within a globally recognized, humanitarian-focused framework. The project aims to convert different voice-recorded interviews and discussions into accurate, written transcripts. These documents will play a crucial role in enhancing accessibility, ensuring meticulous record-keeping, and supporting the strategic objectives of enhancing communication and knowledge sharing across diverse stakeholders. Responsibilities:

  • Manage project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure phases.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications.
  • Coordinate and oversee the project team’s activities to ensure efficient workflow and task allocation.
  • Implement risk management strategies and mitigate potential project hurdles.
  • Prepare and present regular progress reports to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience with international organizations, the UN offices and auditing assignments is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management, preferably in transcription services or related fields.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
